Video Production Supplies to Phoenix Youth

Opportunity4Kids is excited to share that we made a $2,500 donation to Lights Camera Discover. Lights Camera Discover is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization that is dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty by providing education in careers that are “in demand”. Their mission is to “provide free, accessible and effective STEAM programming leading to secondary education and then to STEAM careers”.

The funds Opportunity4Kids donated will help 10 youth in Phoenix at one of Lights Camera Discovers programs to purchase supplies for an upcoming video production project they are working on. Video production is a rapidly growing industry and these kiddos are learning the vital skills to become our next generation’s entertainment industry leaders. In addition to gaining skills they will use throughout their lives, Lights Camera Discover’s students also gain a sense of pride, self-worth, strength and appreciation of community through programs like these!
