PRESS RELEASE: Opportunity4Kids Participates in it’s 4th Year of AZ Gives Day!

Opportunity 4 Kids will be joining Arizona Gives Day, along with hundreds of other nonprofits from all over the state on Tuesday, April 3rd, to raise much-needed funds. Through azgives.org, Arizonans will be able to support their favorite nonprofit(s) for exactly 24 hours of virtual giving to strive for additional cash incentive prizes.

“Arizona Gives Day is the perfect time for our community to come together and support the amazing nonprofits making an impact in Arizona,” says Alexandra Munter, Director of Operations, Opportunity4Kids.

In its fourth year of participation, Opportunity4Kids is excited to spread the word about how local supporters can easily make a difference for Arizona youth in need.

“The average scholarship awarded ranges from $300-$350 per season or activity. With one activity, we are seeing that children experience a boost in self-esteem and social skills. A little goes a long way!” says Munter.

Not only are donations to Opportunity4Kids federally tax deductible, but in the state of Arizona, donations of up to $400 for single filers, and $800 for joint filers, also qualify for a dollar-for-dollar tax credit; giving donors even more bang for their buck!!

From 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on April 3, supporters of Opportunity4Kids can go to azgives.org and select Opportunity4Kids to make a direct contribution. These donations are crucial to helping fund our local efforts throughout the year.
