This Week’s Winner: Sport Enthusiast Jack

The winner of this week’s Rob Deer Superstar Award is an awesomely dedicated 9 year old boy, Jack! Jack lives and breathes sports. Ask him any question about players, teams, stats…even mascots and he’ll have the answer.

Jack

Jack started playing baseball spring of 2012 with Shadow Mountain Little League.  This year Jack played both positions, Catcher and Pitcher for his minor team, the Baby Blue Diamondbacks.  In June, he even made the 2015 Shadow Mountain Little League 9-10 All Star team!

What really made a difference for Jack has been supportive coaching and guidance. Earlier this year, Jack attended a clinic run by Isaac Hess and MADE Baseball.  The encouraging relationship with Coach Hess has helped Jack to stay focused on the sport while also having fun!  Jack’s mom agrees, one of the reasons Jack plays so well and has a championship attitude is due to the support of Coach Hess.

Inspiring stories like Jack’s remind us that extracurricular activities and sports can make a huge difference in a child’s life. It is our pleasure to recognize Jack as a Superstar in our community! WAY TO GO!!
