#COVIDCANTSTOPGOOD and that rings true with Kema of Lights Camera Discover. Lights Camera Discover aims to give kids a voice through media arts and digital storytelling and wouldn’t let the coronavirus stop their mission. 

Taking Programming Virtual

With social distancing and stay at home orders issued, programming transitioned to online, virtual classes instead of in person interactions- but the creativity kept flowing!

Young creatives attended Monday-Friday sessions that featured guest appearances from industry professionals- ghostwriter/producer, Ryan Gibson, filmmaker Sean Kinney and singer/songwriter Christiane Kinney.

Each week kids worked on their very own concept, learning first the basics of writing a show or movie and then working on ways to keep viewers engaged and really develop the characters.
