Going for the Assist with Barcelona AZ!

TFA Barcelona is a soccer organization based out of Mesa, Arizona that prides themselves on providing a professional soccer environment for their players. The Club encourages its players to focus on the importance of education, discipline and commitment through the sport of soccer. Through TFA Barcelona’s affiliation with FC Barcelona Soccer Foundation, the Club has access to high level coaching that nurtures and develops local talent.

Time to Play!

When it came to our attention that there were many families who were not able to pay registration fees for the upcoming season, Opportunity4Kids knew we had to help. We were able to sponsor 13 children in need to participate for the 2016 season! What touched us the most was that all of the families who put in requests for Sponsorship expressed their children’s passion for the game and how participation in soccer gave them something to look forward to each day!

For the Love of the Game

To highlight one story, we received a request from a boy named Joey who wished to continue playing the sport he loves so much. Joey is very dedicated and hopes to one day be able to play in college and even become a professional soccer player. Joey’s family has worked extremely hard for him to be able to continue playing in the past and turned to Opportunity4Kids for some extra help for the upcoming season. We are happy to support Joey and twelve other of his TFA Barcelona teammates to get back out on the field!

The Fun Doesn’t Stop There!

As a kickoff to the Fall soccer season, TFA Barcelona invited us to join the Club and its supporters at Top Golf Gilbert for a day of business networking, golf play and delicious food- all while raising funds for players in need. We are super excited for the season ahead and cannot wait to see the kiddos having a blast!!
